About a month ago my family and I went on vacation to Durango, Colo., and instead of driving the 16 hours to get there like we did a couple of years back, we decided to trade in our airline miles and fly. The flight was on time and we were having a great time until we noticed our camera was missing. Thankfully it wasn't the expensive camera, but it was still one of the $100 small cameras, the one my wife carried with her everywhere. We looked for it everywhere -- luggage, called home to see if we left it in the car and it was just missing. I even called the airline's lost and found at the airport to find this camera.

The lady in the lost and found department was going through hundreds of cameras that have been turned in as lost and she found our camera but just not our camera! She found several, but the pics she was describing on them were just not us! I commented to her that there must be some pretty weird stuff that gets turned in to you. She replied with a yes and some of it leaves you thinking, 'Why would you bring that to the airport much less on to a plane!?!'

A new survey of cabin crews and lost and found associates has revealed that passengers have in deed left some strange things behind when that cabin door opens. Among some of those things were glass eyes, a bag of diamonds, handcuffs, an egg and a falcon to name a few. You can check out some of the other bizarre items here.

So this brings up my question to you, have you ever forgotten anything on a plane? Tell me about it in the comment section below.
