Phillip Phillips Releases New Single and Joins Matchbox Twenty Show In Longview [AUDIO]
Phillip Phillips has been on top of the charts lately with his debut hit “Home” and he’s looking to follow that success up with his second single “Gone, Gone, Gone”.
The follow up single has a similar sound to his current in the fact that is has sing along lyrics, an acoustic guitar and drum feel that features horns and is a bit more energetic. Although Phillip didn’t write this song as with “Home”, he tells Yahoo! Music Canada, “I thought it was a beautiful song. The more I’ve played it live, the more I’ve made it more my own, and people seem to really connect with it and really enjoy it, so I’m excited to see how that song’s going to do.”
You can see Phillip Phillip perform this song live in Longview when he opens up for Matchbox Twenty at LeTourneau University’s Belcher Center on Saturday, February 2nd. Tickets are still available for the show.
