Pink Is Giving Acting A Try

After becoming a mom, Pink is branching out and giving acting a shot.  In her first acting gig she is assuming her birth name of Alecia Moore and will be starring in an indie film called "Thanks For Sharing".

The movie started shooting last month in New York City and she joins a strong cast for the movie.

The movie is directed by first time director Stuart Blumberg and the cast includes Gwyneth Paltrow, Tim Robbins, Mark Ruffalo, Patrick Fugit, Josh Gad and many more.  According to Variety the movie is

a dramedy that centers on a group of recovering sex addicts."

Pink's character, Dede, will bond with Josh Gad.  Blumberg had this to say about Pink,

She carries with her just the right combination of heart and edginess for the part of Dede, and we're incredibly excited to share her acting talent with audiences."

There is no word on a release date for this film yet.
