Pure Fresh East Texas Peaches

Is there anything better than an East Texas peach?  I am one who can tell the difference too!  Haha.  My 100 year old Aunt Letha makes the absolute BEST peach cobbler  I'm sure it's legendary in Jacksonville.  I just hate what this year's bizarre weather has done to our farmers!!  It's really delayed the peach crop.  I always love to support our local farmers here in East Texas.

Danville Farms in Kilgore, you know 'em for Christmas trees and peaches, is expecting a nice crop of peaches but the crop has been a little delayed.  Heads up, they are opening this Friday morning ONLY from 9a to 11a.  They hope to be open next week and loaded down with peaches but aren't sure yet.

Give them some love on Friday and check their website next week for availability.  They will update it with new hours!  Have a great day.  I'm craving a peach smoothie now!  Haha.
