Is Rihanna cooking up a Lemonade-flavored feud with Beyonce? Riri says no, but not every fan seems so convinced.

The rumored beef got legs yesterday (December 6) when Rihanna fan account @RihannaGang_ posted an image of Rih coupled with a caption that called out The Grammys for leaving Anti out of several key 2017 categories. The post also slammed the show for allegedly catering to Bey, who's the next ceremony's most-nominated artist, noting "I think they didn't want [Rihanna] tied or passing someone else *cough cough*" with a lemon emoji.

Rihanna proceeded to double-tap the post, and when fans perceived this as her corroborating @RihannaGang_'s Beyonce-slight, Rih jumped in to clear things up, and chide those who insisted on peddling gossip.

"I never actually read your caption, thought the pic was funny and moved right along!" Rih commented on the post, as captured by @Musicnews_feed. "I'm petty af, yes. But this is just unnecessary! I wish y'all would drop this topic and see things from the bigger picture! We don't need to be putting black women against each other!"

Rih previously addressed a supposed rivalry with Bey in the April issue of Vogue, noting: "Here’s the deal. They just get so excited to feast on something that’s negative. Something that’s competitive. Something that’s, you know, a rivalry. And that’s just not what I wake up to. Because I can only do me. And nobody else is going to be able to do that."

What do you think — is there a true feud brewing, or was Rihanna's double-tap sincerely an oversight? Share your thoughts in the comments.
