Calvin Harris has collaborated with several major artists over the course of his career thus far, so when promoters hinted there'd be a special guest during his closing set at this year's Coachella, quite a few big names made their way into the conversation. Despite persistent rumors that Harris' girlfriend Taylor Swift would make an appearance (even though the two have yet to collaborate musically), the mystery artist turned out to be Rihanna, who performed her 2011 hit "We Found Love" for the massive crowd.

But not all hope was lost for Swift fans, as she managed to work herself into the conversation anyway. The "New Romantics" singer posted a video to both Instagram and Twitter last night (April 17) of her and a few of her famous friends (Lorde, HAIM and Fifth Harmony's Camila Cabello were all there with her) singing along from the crowd. She wrote the caption, "I'll NEVER forget this moment," a statement that indicates Rihanna's appearance might have been a surprise even for her.

Swift later made her way backstage to see Rihanna -- ah, the perks of worldwide fame -- post-performance. She greeted the "Diamonds" singer and said, "That was the craziest thing, oh my god," to which Rihanna responded by embracing Swift in a half-hearted side-hug.
