Alan Tudyk Reveals a New Look at His K-2SO Droid In Empire’s ‘Rogue One’ Cover
Empire Magazine gave us a look at the Rebels and Imperial Military in their alternate Rogue One covers. Now Star War‘s latest droid has his very own cover.
Alan Tudyk’s K-2SO, aka Kaytoo, graces an alternate limited edition cover of Empire’s October issue. The cover photos shows off the military enforcer droid’s control panel and antennas on the back of his unit. Tudyk first revealed the cover on Twitter on Monday, followed by the full reveal from Empire. Check it out below:
In Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Tudyk’s Kaytoo is an Imperial droid that has been reprogrammed by Diego Luna’s Captain Cassian Andor. At Star Wars Celebration Europe last month, the actor said his droid isn’t “quite all there.” “He speaks his mind and says things that can be unsettling,” Tudyk said. “Very honest. If you know any old people, it’s like that.”
Rogue One also stars Ben Mendelsohn as Imperial Director Orson Krennic, Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera, Riz Ahmed as Rebel pilot Bodhi Rook, Donnie Yen’s Chirrut Îmwe, and Jiang Wen’s Baze Malbus. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story opens December 16.
