If you love the classic Christmas film, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer as much as I do, you're planning to watch tonight.

It's become a personal Christmas tradition each year for me to watch the film and decorate my Christmas tree. Others might listen to Christmas Music, or have the family join in on the festivities. Not me. I do it by myself.

My husband is typically in the other room watching television, with the occasional visit and ornament placed. He is not as into the classic film as I am. I watch for the television schedule each year, and record it on our DVR. It airs tonight locally at 7 p.m. on CBS.

I set my DVR this morning to record it, and I'll probably start watching and decorating around 7:30 after dinner. I love the beauty of delayed viewing with technology. I'm thankful to have it, and then if I need to finish the tree tomorrow evening I can pick back up where I left off!

Enjoy viewing the classic tonight with your family, or record it and watch it later! Merry Christmas!
