Ryan Tedder and Usher Join All Star Tornado Relief Benefit Concert
NBC will be airing a special benefit concert Wednesday evening at 8p called Healing in the Heartland. This special concert will benefit the victims of the EF5 tornado that ravaged the town of Moore, OK on Monday, May 20th. Just added to the line-up of performers is OneRepublic lead singer Ryan Tedder, who is originally from Tulsa, OK and Usher.
Tedder and Usher will be joining country superstars like Blake Shelton, who organized the benefit concert along with Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire, Darius Rucker, Rascal Flatts, Vince Gill, Luke Bryan and more. Tickets are sold out for the concert tomorrow night at the Chesapeake Energy Center in Oklahoma City but can be seen on NBC beginning at 8 as well as other NBC properties like Style, G4, Bravo, E! and CMT (although it may be delayed on the cable networks).
Money raised from the benefit concert will be donated to the United Way of Central Oklahoma May Tornadoes Relief Fund and will help the recovery and rebuilding of Moore, OK.
