Though it was once derided as a platform for oversharing geeks, Twitter‘s become so big amongst celebrities, we find ourselves surprised when a boldface name doesn’t have a corresponding Twitter handle. Be-Kangol’d movie star Samuel L. Jackson is the latest celeb to join the social network, and signed up with a little help from prolific tweeter Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday’s ‘Late Night.’

Bearing an iPad, Fallon taught Jackson how to tweet during his interview and since the segment aired, Jackson has acquired almost 80,000 followers.

Fallon claimed the explicit tweet was Jackson’s first, but if you look at his Twitter page, it’s actually his fourth — he had a few pre-show thoughts to share, too:
