Sorry, Divergent fans, but Shailene Woodley's days as Tris are officially over.

Appearing at the premiere of her new HBO series, Big Little Lies, in Hollywood on Tuesday (February 7), the actress announced that she will not return as the hero of the YA sci-fi franchise.

Speaking to Vanity Fair, Woodley simply stated, "No, I'm not going to be on the television show."

Originally slated for a March 2017 theatrical release, Ascendant, the fourth installment of the hit teen series, is currently being developed into a TV movie after the disappointing box office returns of the previous film, 2016's Allegiant.

Woodley first addressed rumors of a Divergent TV movie last summer while attending San Diego Comic Con, but it looks like the Oscar-nominated actress isn't interested (understandably) in appearing in a direct-to-TV movie.
