On Thursday night, Jersey Shore star Nicole "Snooki" Polizi was paid $32,000 to conduct a Q&A session at the University of Rutgers in New Jersey, where she dispensed such timeless advice as "study hard, but party harder" to about 1,000 students.

As is being pointed out all over the Internet, next month Nobel and Pulitzer Prize-winning author Toni Morrison will give the commencement speech at Rutgers in front 10,000-plus graduating seniors, yet will only be paid $30,000 for her seemingly more important efforts.

Although, in fairness to Snooki, she is an author too: Her semi-autobiographical masterpiece, 'A Shore Thing,' was released in January to . . . well . . . reviews.
