How many of you have ever truly been offended by the idea of your Starbucks barista wearing an engagement or wedding ring?

Yeah, neither have I.

Starbucks recently announced that its employees would no longer be permitted to wear rings with any kind of precious stones on them for safety and health code reasons, but no one seems to believe that a bit. Starbucks' new dress code only permits employees to wear plan wedding bands while at work.

Angry customers have taken to social media to voice their opinions to the company - mentioning things like the fact that tattoos and nose rings are permitted but wedding/engagement rings are not. Many customers have even begun to boycott Starbucks saying that this corporate decision is an attack on women and the idea of marriage.
