Lemonade Day is fast approaching, and the kids are getting excited as they make final preparations on their stands for tomorrow's operations.

As the kids are getting ready, I thought I would share a few tips with those planning to support the kids tomorrow. The whole concept of Lemonade Day is 'spend some, save some, share some.' The idea is to teach kids that in business there is cost, profit, and it pays to give back to others.

If you're planning to drop by one of the locations tomorrow remember to bring cash. Our kids are smart, and likely have smart phones, but they may not be set up to take a debit or credit card.

The locations will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., so come thirsty and be ready to try lemonade from multiple stands as there will be several lemonade stands at each location.

All five locations are in Tyler, and the kids are welcome to make a profit and, or donate their profits to a charity of their choice.

Locations include, the Trinity Clinic at the corner of Rieck and Broadway, Wagner Cadillac, and Ashley Furniture Home Store both located on Broadway. Another location can be found at the Suddenlink offices on ESE Loop 323 at the intersection of University Blvd. There will also be stands set up at Kelly Community Federal Credit Union on Grande Avenue.

Tonight as an event kick-off, several kids are setting up at Cavender's on the Loop in Tyler to compete for the Best Tasting Lemonade.
