Surprise! Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Tie the Knot

Less than a year after the two began dating, Gossip Girl star Blake Lively and Canadian hunk Ryan Reynolds tied the knot in a surprise ceremony on Sunday. The two have kept their relationship very quiet and have flown under the radar, so their wedding definitely shocked Hollywood.

Lively, 25, and Reynolds, 35, met in the summer of 2011 on the set of their movie The Green Lantern. Rumors of a romance sparked in October of that year. Their romance came 10 months after Reynolds had filed for divorce from his wife of two years, Avengers star Scarlett Johansson - making this the second marriage for Reynolds, and the first for Lively.

Just a few months after the pair began dating, they bought a house together in April in Bedford, NY. Other than that, no one knew their relationship was serious enough for marriage. Rumors began sparking when a number of Lively's family members were spotted in Charleston, South Carolina over the weekend. Ryan and Blake had made a few trips there over the last few months, which led to speculation of a possible wedding spot.

The ceremony which took place Sunday evening was very quiet and small. Blake's close friends Christian Louboutin and Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine were said to be in attendance. Welch also performed at the ceremony. The ceremony took place in a tent outside of a small plantation in Charleston.
