Bruno Mars served at both the host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live last weekend and unfortunately I missed the most watched and apparently one of the funniest episodes within the last seven months. According to the Hollywood Reporter, this was the highest rated show since Lindsay Lohan hosted SNL back in March.

Some artists have been reluctant to put their music on iTunes, although the list is short, it's just got a bit shorter because Aerosmith has just placed some of their older albums on the widely popular digital music site. The albums, which were originally released from 1973 to 1987, include Toys In The Attic, Rocks, Get your Wings and more.

The band’s latest in-studio video offers a glimpse of what appears to be one of the new songs in progress, with guitarist Joe Perry playing a blues riff while vocalist Steven Tyler works out a beat on the drums.

Aerosmith is headed back to the studio this month to begin working on a new album. It would be their first since 2008. The band recently announced a Japanese tour that will have them touring the nation late November through early December. There's no word on whether or not they'll be touring the states just yet.

It's been nearly 10 years since Aerosmith has put out a new album, although they did put out an album in 2004 called Honkin On Bobo but it contained only 1 new song. The last complete album was Just Push Play and they released that back in 2001. Well, the band is headed back in the studio next month to work on a new album according to a tweet from Joe Perry and they expect it to be out by the end of the year. Which coincidentally, Steven Tyler can push and reference while sitting in the American Idol judges seat!

What has got to be your all time favorite Aerosmith song? They've had a ton of great ones, I would have to pick I Don't Want To Miss A Thing. Catch the video and others after the jump.
