It remains to be seen if the movies would ever feature their own Green Arrow with a new actor, but either way, consider Amell’s blessing officially given.

However many loved Season 1 of CBS’ Supergirl, few would argue the DC drama suffered a few growing pains, and left room for improvement in Season 2. Moving to The CW (and Vancouver) makes that transition difficult to gauge, but producer Andrew Kreisberg claims Supergirl Season 2 will enjoy the same boon that Arrow did in its revered second run.

The early days of Arrow Season 4 saw enough Green Lantern teases to get fan hopes up, but will Season 5 do the same? The latest addition features a surprising personal connection to Hal Jordan, as Carly Pope joins Season 5 as a Coast City reporter.

CBS’ Supergirl made clear from the start that it intended to tell Kara’s story - not her Super-cousin’s - though that didn’t stop the DC drama from awkwardly fumbling around his offscreen presence. Now, in addition to the big CW move, Supergirl will finally introduce a flesh-and-blood (or rather steel) Superman, casting for the iconic role now underway.

Arrow Season 4 didn’t quite clue us into next year’s big bad the way Season 3 name-dropped Damien Darhk, leaving fans to sleuth out his or her identity with “charming” descriptions. Now, an new report says the Arrow Season 5 big bad will take a few cues from legendary The Wire villain Stringer Bell, with just a hint of Jason Momoa.

Just over a week removed from the Arrow Season 4 finale, fans are still awaiting the new big bad to menace Star City (or maybe the entire galaxy this time, for scale), but what of any new heroes? Well, heroes-ish, anyway, as Arrow Season 5 is looking to add a reckless new vigilante to its ranks.

It must be May if Star City stands on the brink of destruction, but Oliver Queen’s hometown is far from the only major locale in jeopardy by this week’s Arrow Season 4 finale “Schism.” A new extended trailer for the May 25 closer sees Damon Darhk’s nukes once again on the warpath, while Star City erupts in an all-out streetfight. You know … again.

Both Supergirl and The CW still have plenty of questions to answer over the big move this fall, though as any fan would surely guess, Kara’s network move will afford the chance for one giant crossover with The Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow. To wit, The CW has released its DC-heavy schedule, teasing the epic crossover to come.
