On Monday night I had the pleasure of traveling to Dallas to experience my first Beyonce concert. The opening act, Luke James, gave an energetic performance that perfectly prepped the audience for Mrs. Carter's arrival.
Beyonce is almost as famous for her classy and gracious nature as she is for her powerhouse pipes and killer dance moves, so we're taking this news with a grain of salt -- or sand, as it were. Could Beyonce really be banned from the pyramids in Egypt ... due to rudeness?
OneRepublic frontman penned a little old song called 'Halo' for Beyonce, which became one of her signature songs and earned a Grammy. And now he thinks they've actually topped that with a new track -- that's a combination of 'Halo' and 'Single Ladies.' To quote the Queen herself, "I don't think they can handle this."
There's a reason Beyonce is the Queen Bey: She's not only the most talented singer, dancer and performer in the game, but she's also the classiest and one of the most compassionate superstars on the planet. She proved it once more this week in Perth, Australia, where she sang with a legally blind concert goer named Sophie Kotkis and pretty much made her life.
She recently made headlines worldwide for photobombing a teen's selfie mid-concert. Well, Bey's done it again, and she's outdone herself -- by using an audience member's iPhone to FaceTime another fan in the middle of a show!
This is an amazing acapella compilation of all of Beyonce's songs in just six minutes. You are about to be amazed with this amazing performance. These guys really are impressive. Plus, who doesn't love hearing a Beyonce song over and over again?
Beyonce has a thing with fans -- both real, human fanatics and appliances that blow air-- at her live shows. Earlier this summer, the Queen Bey's hair was caught in a fan near the stage while performing. This weekend in Brazil, a shirtless fan got too close and tried to yank the sparkly blue jumpsuit-wearing singer off the stage. Yikes. Scary!
Considering her husband, Jay-Z, founded the Made in America Festival, it's no surprise that Beyonce performed at the 2013 Philadelphia concert series. It's also no surprise that she killed it, because, well, she's Beyonce. Who run the world?!
Beyonce made quite a stir in Coney Island, N.Y. this week. The 'Grown Woman' singer was on hand at the amusement park with photographer Terry Richardson and a camera crew in tow, and everyone had a blast ... except for one poor couple who got stuck on a Ferris Wheel while Bey got ready!
