Mix 93-1, 101.5 KNUE, Hot 107-3 Jamz and 96X have teamed with Carter BloodCare of East Texas to host the annual Call To Arms Blood Drive from Jan. 7-12 to help save the lives of East Texans and to raise the blood supply levels here in the area. It's comforting to know that for every pint of blood that is donated, it can help save up to three lives.

The "Call to Arms" Blood Drive continues today and Mix 93-1 is all over East Texas with the Carter Blood Care blood mobiles.

Look for the blood mobiles to be in Longview today at the Wal-Mart locations on Gilmer Rd. and Loop 281 from 11a - 1p today and when you donate you get qualified to win a couple of very cool prizes in addition to receiving a special t-shirt too!

Today marks the third day for the Mix 93-1 Call To Arms Blood Drive with Carter BloodCare. Today the blood mobile units will be in Mineola and Henderson from 11 a.m to 7 p.m.

With the improvement of the weather yesterday, there were quite a few more donors than there was on day 1, which saw rain, drizzle and mist all day. However, seeing more people yesterday doesn't mean we're done or that we've met our goal! We still need your help, East Texas!
