February 9, 2011 After botching the National Anthem at Super Bowl XLV last Sunday, there are organizations out there willing to give her a second chance. A couple of minor league sports team offering her a shot at redemption.
February 7, 2011 By now I'm sure you've heard that Christina Aguilera botched the National Anthem before Super Bowl XLV yesterday. Well, she released a statement apologizing for her little lapse in memory. Christina released a statement saying,
“I got so caught up in the moment of the song that I lost my place. I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through."

January 15, 2011 No confirmation from the NFL yet but sources told The Dallas Morning News that Christina Aguilera would be singing the National Anthem right before kick off of Super Bowl XLV on February 6th around 5:25p at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.
Aguilera, 30, last performed at the Super Bowl in 2000 during the halftime show, sharing the stage with Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias and English rocker Phil Collins. (Fox Sports)
