More recently she's become involved in political protests, and that led to her arrest yesterday right here in East Texas, in Wood County. She was released last night from the Wood County Jail in Winnsboro.

Hannah was among more than 100 people detained by US Park Police while protesting the Keystone pipeline project.

“We stand here today to just say no to slavery, to just say no to tar, sands, oil, and no to the Keystone pipeline,” Hannah said.
