Bridget Carrington Sent Home on 'Duets'

On tonight’s (July 12) penultimate episode of Season 1 of ‘Duets,’ judges’ favorite John Glosson was actually in the bottom two, along with Bridget Carrington. It was Carrington, the amateur partner of superstar John Legend, who was voted off and sent home by the American public. We’re bummed to see her go since she had so much charisma.

On last Thursday’s (July 5) episode of ‘Duets,’ superstar coaches Kelly Clarkson and John Legend teamed up for a blockbuster duet on the standard ‘You Don’t Know Me.’ The twosome sang the classic, much loved tune while seated, likely due to the fact that Clarkson has a hairline fracture in her foot and can’t stand easily. While she may be hobbling, it had absolutely no affect on that beautiful voice of hers.

On tonight’s (July 5) live episode of ‘Duets,’ the elimination took place at the top of the episode, as opposed to the end, since fans voted last week on who to keep and who to send home. Bridget Carrington and Olivia Chisholm camped out in the bottom two and faced being bounced, with Chisholm ultimately being sent home. It’s weird for a reality show to reveal the results first, but this show works differently.

On tonight’s (June 13) episode of ‘Duets,’ crooner John Legend and his girls Bridget Carrington and Meleana Brown were tasked with singing party songs. Legend and Carrington dropped back to the ’70s and the disco era, doing the late Donna Summer’s ‘Last Dance,’ while he and Brown offered up their version of Kelly Clarkson‘s super smash ‘Since U Been Gone.’ The latter wasn’t good and as a result, Brown was eliminated.
