Early Voting Is Underway In Texas And There's A LOT Of Constitutional Amendments On The Ballot.

Based on the line at my early voting site, the turnout for this election is going to be huge. Once you get inside the polling location, you'll find two small surprises.

It won't turn out this way for everyone, but my early voting experience was so quick I couldn't believe it. Even with this record turnout so far in Texas, I was in and out in no time. Next week will be a busy one so vote today if you want to save time. You've got five locations to choose from in Smith County.

With the first day of early voting in the 2016 Presidential election behind us, more than 5,000 Smith County residents turned out yesterday to cast their ballot early.

You've seen the yard signs all over East Texas for weeks, but today is your first opportunity to cast your ballot. Early voting for the March 4, 2014 Primary Election runs today through Friday, February 28.

Early voting started Monday in Texas and runs through next week. Have you voted yet, or are you waiting until November 6th? I voted earlier today and I thought I'd pass along some of the things either I learned for the first time, or that were reaffirmed to me.

Voters have until 7 p.m. Friday to cast their early vote for the May 29 Texas primaries. The primaries will determine the candidates for the general election to be held Nov. 6.
