The news comes at an especially awkward time, considering Spears made the announcement that Iglesias would be joining her on tour just a few hours prior, on Tuesday's episode of 'Good Morning America.'

No confirmation from the NFL yet but sources told The Dallas Morning News that Christina Aguilera would be singing the National Anthem right before kick off of Super Bowl XLV on February 6th around 5:25p at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.
Aguilera, 30, last performed at the Super Bowl in 2000 during the halftime show, sharing the stage with Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias and English rocker Phil Collins. (Fox Sports)
