High school football is not done yet! Several East Texas high school football teams have one final game to play! Their season began way back in August with early morning practices in the Texas heat. They've played just about every Friday night since the school year began and playing in this game is what a lot of players have dreamed about all year long and since they've began playing the sport. The Gladewater Bears head into the Battle On The Border Friday night looking awesome thanks to their huge win over the Pittsburg Pirates last Friday night.

The Whitehouse Wildcats kick off another great season of high school football tonight in Texarkana. The Wildcats are facing off against the Texas High Tigers at Tiger Stadium in Texarkana beginning at 7:30 p.m.

The practices began in the middle of August when it was one hundred degrees preparing for games with one goal in mind - the state championship title game!  A couple of East Texas teams have reached that goal and are one win away from gaining that title.  The Daingerfield Tigers and Gilmer Buckeyes are playing in their final games today at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.
