Tragic events can have a big effect on what radio stations play on the air and in the wake of the tragedy in Newtown, CT at Sandy Hook Elementary last Friday station program directors have been examining their playlist and removing songs that could be deemed as offensive and insensitive in light of recent events. Kesha's latest song, "Die Young", was quickly climbing the charts but plummeted after Friday's event and now she is trying to distance herself from the song.
