Is there a rift between Adam Levine and Javier Colon, the winner of Season 1 of ‘The Voice‘ under Levine’s tutelage? It sure sounds like it, even though the men seemed so close after working together during the series’ debut season in 2011. Apparently, Levine is refusing to take the stage with Colon and egos appear to be at play.

In a photo finish, Javier Colon was named the winner of the inaugural season of NBC’s popular reality-competition series ‘The Voice.’

According to host Carson Daly, Colon beat runner-up Dia Frampton by just two percent of the vote, making it a truly nail-biting finale

A tearful Colon thanked his fellow competitors, and was greeted by an overjoyed Adam Levine, who had coached Colon throughout the season.
