Since receiving the title of American Idol she's had several hit albums, tons of singles and even starred in a movie with runner up Justin Guarini from season 1 on American Idol. All of these successes comes back to that crowning moment on Idol.
April 16, 2011 After winning the very first American Idol competition nearly 10 years ago, Kelly Clarkson returned to the Idol stage during the results show this past Thursday. She performed her duet "Don't You Wanna Stay" with Jason Aldean. On Friday, she took to her Facebook and wrote the following about her experience saying she
had such a great time” and that it’s “so funny”
just how popular the show has become.
April 9, 2011 Earlier in the week, Kelly Clarkson made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The show was being taped in Orlando, Florida and Kelly played a fantastic medley of her greatest hits, including “Since U Been Gone,” “Walk Away” and more. March 19, 2011 Kelly Clarkson’s highly anticipated next album has been delayed. It was thought to be released in the next few months, but the original American Idol took to her Facebook account to write that she had just found out that the effort “won’t be coming out until September

February 16, 2011 Kelly Clarkson updated her Facebook page the other day with news about her new album. She writes,
the album is gonna be a great pop record!
Kelly's looking forward to releasing it later this year once she finishes the final track for the album, which should be around the 25th of the month.

January 14, 2011 Kelly Clarkson's back on Facebook and back with a new album! The album's actually been completed for a while now, but she was waiting to name it and find out a release date. She was on her Facebook page answering fan questions.
“Kelly when does the new album drop?” with this response: “Supposedly March but who the heck knows haha!
