On Wednesday, October 23rd, listeners of Mix 93-1 and Kidd Kraddick in the Morning stopped by donation locations throughout East Texas to donate money to help send children that suffer from a chronic or terminal illness on a trip of a lifetime to Walt Disney World in Florida next month. Thanks to generous East Texans, $6078.40 was donated to Kidd's Kids in three and a half hours!

Today is Kidd's Kids Day 2013 on Mix 93-1! Mix 93-1 is helping to raise money to send children with a chronic illness or terminal illness to Walt Disney World next month.

If you just heard the statement you wouldn't believe it, but it came out of a listeners mouth during 'Does That Make Me Crazy' this morning, one of our listeners does this every time she leaves the house, she looks at herself in the mirror and asks herself, "Would Big Al Do Me?"!

You can imagine how excited a 10 year old child would be after getting the news that he was getting to get to go to Walt Disney World in Florida! Instead of letting your imagination run wild, I'll relay to you what his mom said, "He ran around the house yelling, 'We're going to Disney World'!" Cade continually asks his mom how much long until we get to go? Now I'd say that's excitement!

As a parent with a young child you have to be mindful of what you say in front of them because inevitably they'll repeat something you've said! Take J-Si for instance, he accidentally said a dirty word in fron of his son Cason recently and after hearing it he went through the house screaming it over and over again, but it's funny what Cason does at 2:30 in the morning though...

Kidd's Kids Day 2013 on Mix 93-1 is Wednesday, October 23rd. Kidd's Kids Day is the one day out of the year that Mix 93-1 and Kidd Kraddick in the Morning set aside to raise money to help send kids with a chronic or terminal illness to Walt Disney World.

What started out as a simple topic on Kidd Kraddick in the Morning, turned out to a big deal for Big Al. J-Si started an apology bit and before it was all said and done, Big Al jumped on the bandwagon and was really nervous when he spilled the beans!

Imagine what your reaction would be if you received a call saying you were going to get to go to Walt Disney World with Kidd's Kids. Now take that reaction in your mind and multiply it a thousand times and add in the excitement of a 12-year-old little girl and you would see a very excited young lady by the name of Braely!
