Parchute is an Alternative/Pop/Rock band from Charolettesville, VA. Band members Will Anderson, Kit French, ALex Hargrave, Nate McFarland and Johnny Stubblefield have taken over the music scene with their recent release "Kiss Me Slowly" which was written by Lady Antebellum. Summer 2011, the band has spent their time in Los Angeles with producer John Fields working on their new album.

Rihanna leads the way in nominations for the comeback of the Billboard Music Awards Sunday night on ABC. She's been nominated for 18 awards while Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber have each been nominated 11 times and Lady Antebellum is up for 8 including Top Duo or Group and Top 200 album. There are going go be some great performances on the show too!

The last Billboard Music Awards show was held back in 2007 and Billboard has announced that they're bringing the show back and it will air on Sunday, May 22nd. live from Las Vegas @7p on KLTV 7. Many Mix artists are up for awards and it looks to be a great show with performances from: Cee Lo Green, Jennifer Lopez, Black Eyed Peas, Rihanna, Taio Cruz and more!
