Michael Jackson's iconic red jacket was expected to bring in $200 to $400 thousand dollars but actually ended up going for $1.8 million dollars at a Beverly Hills auction over the weekend.

The highest bidder was commodities trader Milton Verret of Austin, who plans to use the jacket to raise money for children's charities by letting it go on tour to museums

Today (June 25th) marks the 2 year anniversary of Michael Jackson's sudden death. He was know as the King Of Pop and was the biggest pop star in history who left this world at the early age of 50. Before his death he was preparing for a huge comeback tour which would have taken him all around the world. I grew up listening to him and yeah it was devistating to learn that he died.
