This has to be one of the most beautiful renditions of the Star Spangled Banner I have ever heard! Sixteen-year-old Marlana VanHoose, sang to an awestruck crowd at a UK vs Ole Miss women's basketball game. This talented young lady is blind and is disabled because of a virus she was born with, but she was also born with a God-given gift!

Some of the favorite pop stars have delivered the national anthem at the Super Bowl. Alicia Keys is set to do the deed today (Feb. 3), following up last year's belter Kelly Clarkson. We hope Miss Keys delivers it flawlessly, which isn't always easy. Just ask Christina Aguilera, who effed it up royally in 2011.

By now I'm sure you've heard that Christina Aguilera botched the National Anthem before Super Bowl XLV yesterday. Well, she released a statement apologizing for her little lapse in memory. Christina released a statement saying,
“I got so caught up in the moment of the song that I lost my place. I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through."

Christina Aguilera has the right kind of voice to belt out a memorable national anthem. Unfortunately, her performance at Super Bowl XLV will be remembered for the wrong reason.

As you’ve probably heard, Aguilera flubbed the anthem, forgetting the lyric "o’er the ramparts we watched."

Aguilera is far from the first person to botch the Star Spangled Banner. Check out last night's flub and seven other singers who made a mess of the anthem on much smaller stages.
