It’s always a good time when Canadian sensation Carly Rae Jepsen and indie hero Owl City‘s duet ‘Good Time’ fills our ears and our screens. The lyric video for their bright, happy song has landed and everything about the effervescent clip mimics and mirrors the tone of the upbeat, get-your-butt-out-of-the-chair-and-dance tune.

Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen just released their new single, ‘Good Time,‘ and now the singer-songwriter, aka Adam Young, has opened up about the tune, calling it “a happy accident.”

Carly Rae Jepsen is sitting at the top of Billboard's Hot 100 chart right now with her song "Call Me Maybe" for her second week now.  Her debut album is set to drop sometime in September, but that's not stopping her from creating new music though.  Carly teamed up Owls City's Adam Young to record a new song that will be featured on Owl City's upcoming album.

Owl City — the musical brainchild of lone member Adam Young — hasn’t released a new single since Oct. 2011. So, fans will be happy to hear that not only is he prepping a new album, but he’s already dropped the lead single, ‘Shooting Star.’ And guess what? As 2011 comes to a close, it is time for just about every entertainment outlet to release their best and worst list recapping the year. Entertainment Weekly has released their list and the usual suspect is on the top of one list but doesn't appear on another.

Taylor Swift has written many songs and many of those songs have been written around her relationships.  There's a song on her latest album (Speak Now) called "Enchanted" and it appears as if it was written about Adam Young, the voice behind Owl City.
