Train wrapped up their Mermaids of Alcatraz Tour last night, but the fun doesn't stop there. The band has live appearances scheduled through August, and is excited about their first-ever fan cruise in February.

Last week Mix VIPs had the opportunity to win tickets to see Train live in Dallas at the Gexa Energy Pavilion, on their Mermaids of Alcatraz Tour.

The video for Train's latest song, "50 Ways To Say Goodbye" recently debuted on Vevo and features David Hasselhoff running into Pat Monahan in a grocery store as Pat is looking through the tomatoes.  David asks Pat where his girlfriend is, because they are always together and that's when the Mexican mariachi band kicks in!

The new album from Train is called California 37 and will be in stores April 17th and the band released the video for the first single, "Drive By" (which is sitting at 12 on the Billboard Adult Pop Songs chart) yesterday.

While Train was on the road this past summer with Maroon 5, Pat Monahan was busy writing new music for his band.  By the time the tour was over he had over half of the songs written for it and they hit the studio shortly after the tour wrapped up.  In a recent interview with the Rolling Stone, Pat says Train will be releasing a new song around January 5th.

Pat Monahan is the front man for Train and he along with the band have enjoyed quite a bit of success with their latest album Save Me, San Francisco.  Pat reveals things changed for the band during the recording process right after the jump.
