Last night's American Idol featured auditions from Houston which highlighted quite a bit of talent from the Lone Star State!  Fifty-four people received the golden ticket to Hollywood including Kristine Osorio from Amarillo and Ramiro Garcia of Houston.

American Idol is known for some great talent, awful talent and some really strange talent, too! I happened to catch last night's show that featured auditions from Aspen, Colo., and the last audition they featured fit in the category of Really Strange.

In honor of Season 11 of American Idol starting at 7 p.m. tonight on FOX, it's time we look back on some of the best of the worst auditions in the heralded show's history, including last year in Season 10.

The original returns tonight at 7 p.m. on Fox -- American Idol.  Since its debut 10 years ago, the show has produced some amazing talent, including artists Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, David Cook, Kris Allen and most recently, Season 10 winner Scotty McCreery.  The search begins to find the next American Idol tonight on Fox.

Randy Jackson is still in it to win it: EW.com has confirmed that the original ‘American Idol’ judge will return for an 11th season on Fox’s top-rated series. Also returning for season 11 is Aerosmith rocker Steven Tyler — not exactly the most surprising revelation, considering he initially signed on for more than one season, according to EW.com.

Lady Antebellum are one of the biggest names in country music right now, they've had hits on country, hot a/c, a/c and top 40 charts and now they're going to be a part of one of the biggest shows on TV right now, American Idol.
