Last night on ‘American Idol,’ handsome host Ryan Seacrest, who, according to TMZ, was battling a stomach bug, had to deal with another ailment: the fact that his lady love Julianne Hough is crushing on contestant Phillip Phillips.

Since 2002 Ryan Seacrest has been one of the constant faces of American Idol and he's apparently staying put for the next two years.  The Hollywood Reporter claims that Seacrest will be earning a $15 million paycheck each year to host the show too.

The Fox network will be celebrating its 25th anniversary Sunday by going down memory lane with a 2 hour special Sunday night at 7.  The special will be hosted by Ryan Seacrest and will feature quite a few of the networks most famous alumni.

Dick Clark died this afternoon (April 18) at the age of 82. His friend and protégé Ryan Seacrest issued a short but emotional statement about Clark’s passing. The entertainer died of a massive heart attack in Los Angeles.

There is no stopping Ryan Seacrest‘s takeover of media and popular culture. The ‘American Idol‘ host announced on the ‘Today‘ show that he’ll be joining NBC’s prime time coverage of the 2012 London Summer Olympic Games.

Last night's American Idol featured auditions from Houston which highlighted quite a bit of talent from the Lone Star State!  Fifty-four people received the golden ticket to Hollywood including Kristine Osorio from Amarillo and Ramiro Garcia of Houston.

American Idol is known for some great talent, awful talent and some really strange talent, too! I happened to catch last night's show that featured auditions from Aspen, Colo., and the last audition they featured fit in the category of Really Strange.

Ryan Seacrest seems bent on world domination. In addition to having a radio show and regular hosting gigs on television programs like ‘American Idol’ and ‘E! News,’ he’s about to launch his own cable network.

The original returns tonight at 7 p.m. on Fox -- American Idol.  Since its debut 10 years ago, the show has produced some amazing talent, including artists Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, David Cook, Kris Allen and most recently, Season 10 winner Scotty McCreery.  The search begins to find the next American Idol tonight on Fox.

There’s no one quite like Ryan Seacrest, which is precisely why FOX is trying so hard to keep him as the host of ‘American Idol.’ Seacrest’s $45 million contract is up for renewal, but it’s possible that he won’t be returning to run the hit singing competition.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve on ABC.  This year the festivities will be hosted by Ryan Seacrest and Jenny McCarthy in New York City and Fergie in Los Angeles.  The list of performers is impressive! ...
