Sara Bareilles has teamed up with actress Rashida Jones for the video for her new single 'Brave.' Only Jones doesn't star in the vid – she directed it!

Sara Bareilles will be releasing her third album The Blessed Unrest on July 16th. This first single from the album is called "Brave" and was co-written by Jack Antonoff from fun. and will be available online at digital outlets Tuesday (April 23rd).

The last time we heard new music from Sara Bareilles was in 2010 with the release of her Kaleidoscope Heart album and it looks as if we'll be hearing new music from her soon because she just posted a 20 second video of herself going through sound banks on a keyboard, playing the guitar and in front of a microphone.

"Holy pipes, Batman! Kelly Clarkson sang "Gravity". Woah. Gurrrl. Can. SANG. So cool!"  That's Sara Bareilles' tweet on Kelly Clarkson covering her song while in Durham, NC Tuesday night for the Strong Tour 2012.

The Sing Off is another singing competition show (as if we don't have enough of them already) that is set to return on September 19th on NBC.  Sara Bareilles will be joining a good friend of hers behind the judges table, it's Boyz II Men's Shawn Stockman and the other judge is Ben Folds (which is Kidd Kraddick's favorite singer/song writer!)
