Update 1:30 p.m. The National Weather Service says the threat for large hail and tornadoes is now less than it looked yesterday, but is still not gone completely. The northern half of East Texas is under a slight risk of severe weather today. Isolated thunderstorms with the possibility of very large hail could develop later this afternoon.

Yesterday's unprecedented storms barged through East Texas to Shreveport unyielding in their power. Several confirmed tornadoes were sighted and touched down. We partnered with KLTV to keep you safe by replacing the regularly scheduled music with a live feed from Mark Scirto's informative coverage. Many listeners were able to seek shelter and still monitor the storm's progress by streaming Mix 93-1 on their smart phone. Were you affected by last night's storms?
