I didn't think we'd ever hear Simon Cowell amdmit to what he's going to admit to Monday night on CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight program.  Simon says, "I personally think it is a better show than last year...they've got their energy back.  They're confident.  They're competitive....I think it's a good show." Just about everyone, myself included, thought American Idol's days were numbered once Simon Cowell left the judges table.  Now since the addition of Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez the show has seemed to come back to life and it appears as if Steven is getting more attention on the show than some want.

I still remember watching the very first season of American Idol and watching it come down to Kelly Clarkson and Justin Guarini and watching Kelly Clarkson ultimately winning the inaugural season of what has become a phenomenon! The American Idol machine  has been cranking out some very memorable moments during the audition process too.
