Every office has one -- we all politely don't talk about it. It's that big pink elephant in the room that usually smells awful and is not for the weak at heart.

We are talking about the "Office Refrigerator!"

From my office I hear and SMELL everything that goes on at our station's break room. Sometimes the smells are good coffee and Lucky Larry's lunch those are on the good list -- but I had been noticing that there was an awful odor which was growing stronger and stronger. I went to put my lunch into the fridge and I saw a container of milk -- I took a second to look at the date on the milk "05-21-11" --it didn't register at that time just how old the milk was until I got back to my desk and realized that we are in JULY!

Man Tries to Smuggle Baby Animals Past Airport Security

In a bizarre twist, a first-class passenger was arrested this week after he was caught trying to smuggle two panthers, an Asiatic black bear, one macaque monkey and one marmoset in his luggage.

According to the Guardian, the suspect, Noor Mahmoodr, was charged with "possessing endangered wildlife and smuggling endangered wildlife." The animals were reportedly drugged at the time, and received immediate veterinary care after Mahmoodr was caught.

Almost Mailed Puppy – Owner Won't Get it Back

The four-month-old Schnauzer-poodle mix named Guess was put in a cardboard box with no food, water nor air holes and was nearly mailed to Georgia last month before it was caught by postal workers. Postal authorities predicted that the dog would have died from suffocation or exposure due to the pressure in a cargo plane. I wonder if she used one of the "Flat Rate" boxes -- more after the jump.
