February 7, 2011 By now I'm sure you've heard that Christina Aguilera botched the National Anthem before Super Bowl XLV yesterday. Well, she released a statement apologizing for her little lapse in memory. Christina released a statement saying,
“I got so caught up in the moment of the song that I lost my place. I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through."
The party's over for Charlie Sheen.
Super Bowl Sunday at the Sheen residence used to be a thing of legend, but not this year. Gone are the girls, the gambling and the booze. TMZ says the star just hung out with a few friends and watched the big game "without all the hubbub that usually comes with a Super Bowl party." More after the jump.
Christina Aguilera has the right kind of voice to belt out a memorable national anthem. Unfortunately, her performance at Super Bowl XLV will be remembered for the wrong reason.
As you’ve probably heard, Aguilera flubbed the anthem, forgetting the lyric "o’er the ramparts we watched."

February 4, 2011 Advertisers have paid $3 million or more to run a :30 ad during the Super Bowl on Sunday night. Now most people watch the Super Bowl for the game to see if the Packers or Steelers will take home the Lombardi trophy, but there are a few that will dismiss the game totally and focus on the commercials!
According to a recent survey, 20 million Americans are attending a Super Bowl party this weekend and Super Bowl plans are so important to people that they're made an average of 41 days in advance.

February 3, 2011 The Black Eyed Peas will entertain the world during half time of Super Bowl XLV on Sunday and now it's being rumored that Usher and Slash will be joining the Peas on stage too according to an AP source.
The person spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity Wednesday, because the musicians' performances were not going to be announced before the game.

The Super Bowl hasn’t always been so super. In fact, throughout the ‘80s and into the first half of the ‘90s many of the games were blowouts the likes of which are rarely seen during the regular season.
We’ve had better luck with Super Bowls lately, and this year’s match-up between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers is about as even as can be.
So maybe Sunday’s game will end up being a classic. But for now we can count down the five best Super Bowls ever played.

January 29, 2011 It's next Sunday...Super Bowl XLV at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington and while some have their money on the Green Bay Packers (remaining a three-point favorite over the Pittsburgh Steelers) (at the time of this post!), others have found other ways to wager on America's biggest sporting event.
While some wager on which way the coin toss will go, which team will score first, who'll be the MVP and of course the scores at the end of the quarters and game, a lot of people will have their grids in hand!
