Maroon 5 and Train were scheduled to stop and play the Indiana State Fair, but that all changed on Saturday, August 13th when a gust of wind destroyed the stage, killing 5 and injuring many others. Both bands decided the show must go on and decide to work for free when they stopped in and played at Conseco Field this past Thursday. The bands raised quite a bit of money with the show.
Train kicked off a joint tour with Maroon 5 over the weekend and on this tour they're trying out new music for an upcoming album. Pat Monahan and the guys have been playing a song called "Drive By" which is about how love is deep and everlasting and not just a one time thing. Catch a performance of the song after the jump.
Train opened up a joint tour with Maroon 5 this past weekend and they're performing a ton of songs from their latest album Save Me, San Francisco. Before the release of the album they hadn't had a lot of success in releasing a hit song. Lead singer Pat Monahan and the band never gave up and they had some encouragement from an unlikely supporter. Hear his thanks after the jump.
A few weeks ago Train announced they had formed their own wine company, Save Me San Francisco Wine Company, and they would be releasing a wine soon. Well, that day is almost here - the first wine is called Drops Of Jupiter and it'll be available July 18th. Maroon 5 and Train will be in Dallas at the Gexa Energy Pavilion on Friday, September 23rd and if you've been thinking about proposing to your girlfriend, you could end up doing it during the show! Train's song "Marry Me" has ended up becoming an ultimate proposal song and many couples have gotten engaged while the song is playing. Train's drummer Scott Underwood told Vh1 radio what Pat Monahan plans on doing during the upcoming tour.
Maroon 5's song Never Gonna Leave This Bed can be heard about every two and a half hours on Mix 93-1 and is played just about every minute on a radio station somewhere in the U.S., but James Valentine of Maroon 5 tells Vh1 radio why he misses the radio after the jump.
There are several ladies here at Mix 93-1 that like to unwind each night with a glass of wine and if you are like them, then you'll soon be able to try a new brand of wine from Train! The band has been allowing fans to share what their favorite wines are on their website through their wine club. Train has formed the Save Me San Francisco Wine Company with the first wine coming out July 18th!
When the joint tour with Maroon 5 and Train kicks off June 24th, Adam Levine say's there will be some surprises in the show. He tells the Rolling Stone they'll be emulating
the (Rolling) Stones, U2, Van Halen and Queen.
