Last year, Bono‘s emergency back surgery in Germany had the U2 fan base worried about his welfare. There was an entirely different kind of concern for Bono over the weekend, when reports circulated that he was treated for chest pains last week at a hospital in Monaco. U2 fans can rest easy, though: It was just a routine checkup, according to a spokeswoman for the 51-year-old singer.

Classic rock artists may not get much love on top 40 radio anymore, but that doesn't mean no one's listening to their music. Quite the contrary. According to Pollstar's mid-year report of worldwide concert grosses, some of the most popular tours of 2011 are being led by older rock acts.

Adam Bevell is a huge U2 fan. He's been to a dozen of the Irish band's concerts, and danced with his wife to U2 favorite 'All I Want Is You' during their wedding. The 32-year old father of four is also blind. At the U2 concert in Nashville, Tennessee he attended last Saturday he held up a sign advertising his services as a "blind guitar player."

U2's Nashville concert ending with a rather unique performance this weekend.  The 360 World Tour usually gets closed out with the song "Moment Of Surrender" except for this night.  Rolling Stone says Bono invited a blind guy up on stage after seeing he was holding a sign saying he wanted to play a song for his wife.  What do you think Bono said?

It is one of my all time favorite albums - U2's Achtung Baby!  It spawned the greats One, Mysterious Ways and one of my favorites Love Is Blindness.  The album was released November 19, 1991 and U2 will be celebrating its 20th anniversary along with the anniversary of their Zoo TV tour with a reissue set to come out later this year.

Two decades ago Jon Bon Jovi sat with the members of his eponymous band in a basement in New Jersey. Hoping to rekindle the group's desire to make music after two grueling years on the road, he'd hung vintage posters on the wall, illuminated only by candles and blacklights. But instead of feeling inspired, Bon Jovi found himself becoming cranky and short of breath.

The Tony Awards are all about Broadway, but Bono and The Edge will give them a little rock edge tonight.

U2 bring the 360 degree Tour back to the states. I was a lucky one to see the show the first time it was here at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington - it was one of the best, if not the best, concert I've ever seen! The Edge admits that U2 are great musicians but also tells Vh1 that they are specialists too at what they do.

The last Billboard Music Awards show was held back in 2007 and Billboard has announced that they're bringing the show back and it will air on Sunday, May 22nd. live from Las Vegas @7p on KLTV 7.  Many Mix artists are up for awards and it looks to be a great show with performances from:  Cee Lo Green, Jennifer Lopez, Black Eyed Peas, Rihanna, Taio Cruz and more!

In the 1985 we had "We Are The World". Last year it was "We Are The World 25 for Haiti", now we have "Songs For Japan",  an album where the proceeds will go to help relief efforts in Japan.
