Taylor Swift and Alicia Keys, two very different yet equally impactful singers, are featured in ELLE's annual Women in Music issue. We've seen the smoldering Adele cover and now we're bearing witness to hot shots of T. Swizzle and the Girl on Fire.

Swift channeled that neo hippie look, similar to her Vogue cover, in a big-brimmed, floppy black hat over her golden locks. It's a sexy and mysterious shot of Swift. She is giving off a sultry stare, and it's serious, black and white pic.

Her choice quote? "All these emotions, everything that's said and all your experience, that's what inspires the first flicker of a song," Swift mused. "It's hard being a human being." She has a point. It's some tough business, that being human thing.

Meanwhile, Keys is just the opposite. She is red hot -- yes, a girl on fire -- in her tomato colored, long-sleeved turtleneck. She is running her hands through her hair.

Keys assessed her music in the piece, stating, "There's not one thing about 'Girl on Fire' that's like any of my others. I'm in a totally new state of mind…This album is like saying I am who I am, not who you want me to be."

It's interesting how each image is totally different in styling and tone. Swift's photo is black and white, tailored (or Taylor-ed), polished and beautifully subdued, while Keys' images is loud, messy and full of gorgeous chaos. Swift's eyes are the focus of her photo, while Keys' mouth is the centerpiece of hers.

PopCrushers, which is your favorite woman in music? Which photo do you like the best?
