Taylor Swift was her usual adorable self when she spoke to reporters in China about the conclusion of the RED Tour, the art of writing lyrics and her highly-anticipated upcoming album.

When asked if the ending of the tour means that she'll have more time to work on her next record, Taylor couldn't wait to gush about the new album.

"That is my favorite question yet!" she chirped happily. " … This will be our last leg of the RED Tour. We're not going to announce some other leg of the tour," she said, laughing. (Swift will kick off the tour's final leg tonight in Shanghai.)

"But what that does that does mean is I can throw myself into the next project," she continued. "I’ve already been working very hard on it and it’s already my favorite thing that I’ve ever created. So the idea that after Asia, I get to go back and finish everything and get everything completely done and wrapped up for a new project, it’s very exciting. It's exciting to be here and to know that this is the end of a musical era in my life that I'm proud of. It's also very exciting to move onto the next one."

And in that next one, Taylor plans to stick the method of songwriting that she knows best: the stories and experiences in her life that fuel her lyrics.

“As I’ve grown up, the things I’ve written about have completely evolved with how I was growing. I was writing songs about what it was like to be 18, what it was like to be 20, what it’s like to be 22 and now I’m 24 and I’m still writing songs about my life,” she explained. “I think I really just love the unity it brings me and the audience because chances are they’ve felt the exact same way I felt when I wrote the song and I think it kind of reminds them — and it reminds me — that the human experience isn’t so lonely.”
