A Texas mattress store has drawn the ire of the internet following their airing of a "9/11 Sale" ad which many viewers have found distasteful.

Miracle Mattress in San Antonio has posted an apology to their Facebook page for their video advertising a "twin tower" sale scheduled for this weekend.

In the video, store manager Cherise Bonanno and two employees can be seen promising to match the price of any mattress in the store for the cost of a twin.  At the end of the ad, two twin mattresses fall on the employees and Bonanno ends the video by saying "We'll never forget."

Comments about the video were fast and angry on the store's Facebook page.

"We are very sorry we have offended you," the post said. "Our staff is full of military and some relatives have passed away due to 9/11. We are promoters of peace and love."

The owner of the store, Mike Bonanno, also chimed in, saying, "I say this unequivocally, with sincere regret: the video is tasteless and an affront to the men and women who lost their lives on 9/11. Furthermore, it disrespects the families who lost their loved ones and continue to struggle with the pain of this tragedy every day of their lives."

Still, however, viewers and potential patrons were mad.

"I find it hard to believe you knew anyone or any of your employees knew anyone who lost their lives in 9/11," Evelyn Sainz Jauregui commented on the post. "If that were the case they would have been so disgusted with your commercial that it would have never seen the light of day."

"Even your damage control is disgusting," commented Ozzy Santos.
