The Latest ETX Burn Bans

Much needed rain is falling today (July 9); however, some burn bans are still active.

So far, Rusk County is the only one to rescind its burn ban, effective July 9.

Harrison, Henderson and Kaufman county burn bans are still in effect.

According to our weather media partner, KLTV, scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue through mid-week with slightly cooler temperatures. As the weekend gets closer, the showers will diminish, and the temperatures will rise again.
