‘The Town that Dreaded Sundown’ Showing at Liberty Hall Tomorrow

Before Jason, Freddy or Michael there was a real-life killer who struck fear in the lives of the people of Texarkana, Texas. 70 years ago, Sammy Fuller and Linda Mae Jenkins parked on a lover’s lane. The next morning, Linda was found on the side of the road barely alive.

Over the next four months, an unidentified serial killer known as the “Phantom Killer” attacked and murdered five young people. The killer has never been caught.
