Dr. Elisha Goldstein, Ph.D., explains three things that you can do differently in the morning to put your day on the right track from the start.

1. Wake up to a soothing sound. Bells and chimes are preferable.

2. Drink a large glass of water. Drink this before rushing for the caffeine.

3. Step outside and take in nature, before you hit up technology.

These three simple things should help you to start your day in a more mindful manner.
