Three Texas Towns Make ‘Most Expensive’ List
Are you still in "stay-cation" mode, or will you be jetting off to some exotic location this year on vacation?
A new report from Cheaphotels.org tells us that three cities in Texas are among the most expensive in the nation for overnight stays. At $81 per night for the cheapest available double room, Austin is #16 on the list. What other Texas cities made the list?
At $108 per night, Houston comes in at #7. That's the most expensive average in Texas.
The cheapest double occupancy room in Dallas this summer is project to be $79, which is good for #18 on the national list.
The most expensive hotel stay in the US? That would be Boston, Mass. at $194 per night, then New York City at $172 per night. Just to sleep!
